Extension objects
The Clickteam objects have been converted to Unicode, except for the ActiveX and Formatted Text objects. Unicode extensions are stored in a Unicode sub-folder of the Extensions and Data\Runtime folders of Clickteam Fusion 2.5.
When an extension has been converted to Unicode, you do not need to do anything, it should be able to display or process any character.
Although some of the 3rd party objects have been converted to Unicode, most of them still work with non-Unicode characters. For those non-Unicode extensions, Clickteam Fusion 2.5 converts Unicode text to non-Unicode characters when it calls their functions and reciprocally converts non-Unicode text to Unicode characters when it retrieves text. For this conversion Clickteam Fusion 2.5 needs to know the language of the non-Unicode text. A specific Language option in the "About" properties of the applications allows you to select the language of your application. If this property is set to Neutral then the language used for the text conversion will be the current language of the user, defined in his/her Windows language properties.
